Memphis Footgolf Tournaments

Memphis Footgolf Club will host both private and open tournaments. Our open tournaments will determine the club members selected to compete together at the national championship in Orlando, FL September 3-6, 2016, hosted by the AFGL.  

The venue for all our footgolf tournaments will be the Memphis Footgolf Club located in Cordova, TN. A championship 3000 yard AFGL accredited footgolf. 
 
The tournaments are open to all footgolfers aged 14 and older.   Divisions, classes, groups or flights may be established within the competition. Each player will be required to pay the total posted entry fee in advance in order to be entered in the competition. Entries may be accepted up to the start of play based on availability. Players are required to wear appropriate attire, strictly respect the dress code at all times on the course and bring their own ball. The organizers reserves the right to deny admission to anyone at any time.

Each registered player will receive the following:

  • Tournament Entry
  • 1 free month of play at Memphis Footgolf Club
  • Full Access to course on Practice Day
  • Tee Time for Competition on day of event
  • T-shirt
  • Ball Marker

PRACTICE
Practice on the tournament course will be allowed on the day before the event.
 
COMPETITION

The competition will be an 18 hole round with the winner being determined by the lowest 18 hole score. Each player will be paired into a group by the Tournament Committee on the first day. Each group shall consist of up to 4 players. Format of Play: Stroke Play. Players will be grouped together in foursomes but will play as individuals. No pairing request will be offered as there is a cash purse for the top scores. Caddies are not permitted, no exceptions to this rule. Thank you for understanding.

GUESTS AND SPECTATORS
Spectators will be permitted on course to observe the competition. There is no charge for admission, although there may be a charge for parking. Spectators are not permitted to ride in golf carts at any time or have ANY contact with players on the course.. 
 

CATEGORIES AND PURSES
The Memphis Footgolf Open is open for Professional and Amateur competitors. Prizes will include cash for the top performances of each category.
 
Professional Category
Must be 18 years old and older to participate in this category.
 
1st Place: $1000
2nd Place: TBD
3rd Place: TBD
 

Amateur Category
Must be 14+ years and older and older to participate in this category. Participants may be broken up into classes depending on registration numbers (i.e. youth, senior, women etc)
